Lord Portley-Rind Puppet

A young orphaned boy raised by underground cave-dwelling trash collectors tries to save his friends from an evil exterminator. The 2014 Laika stop motion film The Boxtrolls is based on the children's novel “Here Be Monsters” by Alan Snow. This is a great handmade and screen used replacement face puppet of Lord Portley-Rind, Winnie's father, and the all-important leader of the White Hats (voiced by Jared Harris). One of the most elaborate and finely wrought costumes ever made by LAIKA, his intricate uniform features laser-etched cotton velvet, hand-applied metal on the breast plate and a hat topped with a silk chiffon feather plume that is wired to be animatable and Simply magnificent standing approximately 20" tall.
