Wade Watts’ (Tye Sheridan) Goggles

In 2045, much of humanity uses the virtual reality software to escape the desolation of the real world. Orphaned teenager Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan) discovers clues to a hidden game within the program that promises the winner full ownership of the OASIS. From Steven Spielberg’s 2018 film Ready Player One, this is Wade Watts’ Goggles seen being put on in the film to access the virtual world known as the “Oasis”. The game had a standard immersion rig given to all new OASIS users, and this type of virtual reality goggles can be seen during the first half of the film before Wade is able to upgrade to the newer style.
