Special F/X Hero Hacksaw and Tape Recorder
Saw is a 2004 horror film, the first installment of the Saw film series directed by James Wan and written by Wan and Leigh Whannell. The film's story revolves around two men who are kidnapped and locked in an industrial bathroom with a dead body between them and given instructions related to escaping. Meanwhile, police detectives investigate and attempt to apprehend the criminal responsible, the "Jigsaw Killer". Here is the saw of saws. The hero special effects hacksaw Dr. Lawrence Gordon (Cary Elwes) had to use on him self in order to be released from Jigsaw’s deadly game. This hacksaw can be screen matched, and was never offered to the public. You can also hear Cary Elwes speak about his saw in the special features section, and how it actually cut him by accident. This display also includes a tape recorder used in the glass box finale of Saw 5.
