Lewis’s (Owen Vaccaro) Magic 8-Ball

Based on the 1973 novel of the same name by John Bellairs, which was the first in a series of 12 books. The film follows a young boy, Lewis, who is sent to live with his uncle, Jonathan, in a creaky old house. He soon learns it was previously inhabited by an evil Warlock. From the 2018 film The House with a Clock in its Walls, this is the is Lewis’s (Owen Vaccaro) Magic 8-ball that he clings to throughout the film asking it questions as he feels it brings messages from his dead parents. Being one of the main props of the film, it’s one of the few things he has left from his old life that was a gift from his parents just before their fatal car crash.
