MENDL'S Cake Box

The adventures of Gustave H, a legendary concierge at a famous hotel from the fictional Republic of Zubrowka between the first and second World Wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend. This is a MENDL'S cake box screen used in the 2014 Wes Anderson comedy, The Grand Budapest Hotel. This box and others like it can be seen throughout the film such as when Zero aids Gustave in escaping from Zubrowka's prison by sending a series of stoneworking tools concealed inside cakes made by Zero's fiancée Agatha.
