Saw is a 2004 horror film, the first installment of the Saw film series directed by James Wan and written by Wan and Leigh Whannell. The film's story revolves around two men who are kidnapped and locked in an industrial bathroom with a dead body between them and given instructions related to escaping. The hero special effects hacksaw Dr. Lawrence Gordon (Cary Elwes) had to use on him self in order to be released from Jigsaw’s deadly game.
